Cure for All Diseases

Happy Tuesday. I’m re-reading A Cure for All Diseases by Hulda Clark, which, as always, is thought-provoking. For me, it also creates a bit of paranoia. Her basic premise is that all disease stems from parasites and/or pollution (not just air/noise/water/food pollution but toxic chemicals that surround us in our daily lives). When you really think about what she says, there is absolutely nothing the average person encounters in daily life that isn’t toxic.

While I feel there is a lot of truth in what she writes, at the same time I can become a little, shall we say, overconcerned about every possible substance I interact with. Have you read this book? What are your thoughts on it?

In acupuncture school I studied J.R. Worsley’s curricula of five element acupuncture based upon his apprenticeship with Japanese acupuncture masters. While that acupuncture style is the foundation for my thinking, I am always interested in learning more about my craft. Lately I’ve been studying and integrating other aspects of Japanese five element acupuncture into my treatments, and I love it!

One new way of treating that really inspires me are treatments based upon circadian rhythms. There is a way to calculate which acupuncture points are most open on your body at any given time, day or night. Treating points when they’re the most naturally open is a powerful way to achieve dramatic healing because you’re swimming with the tide, not parallel to it or against it.

I’ve been using these points on everyone I’ve treated for the two weeks or so, and I have seen some incredible results. I feel so awed when I can directly observe our connection to our natural world in such a powerful way. Truly, I feel blessed that these treatments are part of my practice and my life.

Have a wonderful day! I’ll see you soon, God willing.

I’ve been meaning to resond to your e-mail from Shaduli Planet, been so busy. So here I am on your blog…I do hope you’re great and I send you LOVE and LOVE and LOVE!

I thought the topic here was interesting because I’ve read snipets of Dr. Clark but not any of her whole books yet. I do find the subject of parasites to be overwhelming from any source because it gives you this idea that you’ll clean them out and be done…EASY. BUT, that is not the experience I’ve found.

Healing is so wholistic, like the body. Health is the state of the spirit, the mind, the body and all the things that bombard us from all of those states. I have found that not just one thing works and that it can be a struggle to create peace in the body, surroundings, food, air, home, spirit etc., when discord has a chance to challenge us at each step. But it’s taking small steps in each area to create a spinning, if you will, of all the elements (no pun intented), to create a wholistic well being.

Which brings my interest also to the subject you speak of rhythms. We are looking for schools for our soon to be 4 year old daughter Zaynab, knowing kindergarten is right around the corner (we’ll have to apply to some schools starting in the spring). Waldorf Schools are an interesting and growing philosophy of eductation based on the philosophy of Rudolf Steiner (not all of his philosophy, some of his stuff is just “out” there).

Waldorf has a curriculum based completely on rhythms of life, much like in the in breath and out breath of our lungs. That it is important for the whole person to have the balance of these rhythms. So, in that idea, we started to get up earlier, which got us to bed earlier and I cannot tell you what a change it created in our well being!

Similar to acupuncture, the body’s organs have certain times that they rule and need rest, food, meditation to support the inner well being. Which for me, makes me also remember the five prayers a day being linked to rhythm, and inward time in a world that gets so “outward” on our spirits.

I could go on and on, so I guess I’ll have to come back to another blog and continue…so that I do not digress. :)

    Much Love~ Widad

  2. Beloved, it’s so good to hear your “voice!” I’ve been listening to your cds frequently over the last month, and they’ve been feeding me deeply. Thank you so much for your giving.

Wow, I had no idea that Waldorf integrated daily life rhythms into his curriculum. That sounds fascinating - I will have to check it out when I have a moment. If you know a good online resource, please shoot me the link.

And I know what you mean about parasites. My personal experience has been that it’s not so hard to kill them, but it’s hard to avoid re-infestation. I think what really overwhelmed me this time trying to read her book is that everything is toxic except for pesticide-free food you’ve grown yourself in pristine conditions, pristine water and pristine air. Everything else has pollutants, and the way it’s constantly taxing our immune system makes it much easier to parasites to get a hold and keep it (or keep re-infesting).

I feel like I’m ready for my next level of cleansing, and I have just started. During Ramadan I’m going to do a parasite/colon cleanse (again). Then after Ramadan I’m going to do a Kidney cleanse, then a Liver cleanse, and then I’ll see what’s left after that.

I’m also considering buying Hulda’s parasite “zapper.” You can see it here. It’s a little pricey, but I think I’ll do it at some point. Once I have you can borrow it sometime and see how it works for you. :)

Thank you for responding to this post. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this holy month. Ramadan Karim, Ramadan Mubarak. As-salamu alaykum.
